Why I Started First Step Growth
I created First Step Growth to be the agency I always wished existed.
After over a decade leading growth at high-growth startups and regulated industries like financial services (LendingTree) and telehealth (eHealth, Connie Health, Mochi Health), I’ve worked with nearly every type of agency—big-name firms, boutique shops, performance-focused outfits. I’ve seen what works and, more often, what doesn’t.
Too many agencies rely on outdated playbooks, slow to adapt, or overly focused on vanity metrics. I wanted something faster, leaner, and more accountable—an agency built for operators, by an operator.
At First Step Growth, we bring Silicon Valley-caliber marketing to businesses of all stages, specializing in performance marketing, creative testing, and full-funnel strategy.
I’ve led growth for direct-to-consumer brands, enterprise SaaS, and regulated health platforms, managing over $200M in ad spend. I’ve launched products, scaled businesses to 7–8 figures, and built sustainable acquisition systems. I know what it takes to grow from zero to one, and one to ten.
